Tuesday morning Shake

Hey guys, The Romp'n'Chomp was a huge successs.... hopefully a few more will make it later on


AS for tmrw, kurt and i are meeting for an early shake out... easy 3 miles or so at rancho @ 7:20 and then some strides and drills for strength...

I know its low mileage and early, but the drills will be good, so if you can make it you should... anyway, just comment. I'll probably do another quick run after work from trh...so....

DeMar however has informed me that he is doing a 5 mile tempo at Crystal Spring at 3:30 PM... so if that fits better... then... yah

Good run today, though a few of us missed it! Easy 7 at wills, man Rancho was nice! its good to be back!


As for tmrw, i think that most of us are going short, so its kinda unorganized. I am planning on doing an easy half hour either before 10 or after 6:00 If you are interested in joinging me, comment and let me know which you would prefer. Otherwise have a good run!

Monday Morning Run

So far so good. Heres a quick little tradition i want to start up. If you see a run posted here, and you havent spoken, but you're sure you're going to make it, drop a comment on the post and let me know so that we know who to wait for! Great!

Sunday Afternoon Run

Another weekly tradition is starting up tmrw... the Sunday Afternoon Run!

This run also leaves from TRH and we meet around 4:15!

Tmrws run wont be too long, though there will be some people going longer than others i believe, so you can ride whichever train you like. Later in the summer, this will be the Sunday afternoon LONG run. Also, since it is the early afternoon, we may sometimes drive to another location (a park!!)

Just a reminder, I'm back and will be running everyday now... so you can start checking this site nightly to see when the next days work out will be.

That having been said, tmrw the Randylions run will be joining up with the TRH Saturday morning run (something i think that will be happening every week.) We're going to meet at TRH at 8:30 AM for a super easy 30-45 min warm up! Perfect start of the weekend! Hope to seeya there.

And also, the sunday afternoon long run should be starting up again, so i will confirm that tmrw. But that run generally is pretty routine and goes off also from TRH (we may drive somewhere some weeks...) at 4:15 PM. Just a heads up.

Randy Lions Randier than Ever!

It seems i lied...

I actually ended up coming home a few days in between the big party and the Graduation back east! and as it happens, im going for a run!!

The cool part about all this though (the noteworthy part, at least) is that there will actually be a randy lions run, almost the first official, this afternoon! short notice i know, but i thought i would let you all know...

The cast? Fatty, Demar, Carlos, Shannon, Elliot, and myself! It is going to be Randy indeed!

Incase anyone sees this and wants to/can join us by this evening, the run will be from TRH at 6:15 today! its a long shot, but maybe we'll pick up some riff raff!

Start Date Extension

Sorry guys, i realize that i am not the only member of the randylions... but at the same time, i may be the only one dorky enough to get the ball rollin. also... I'm the one who has taken up the task of posting future workouts, so i think the randylion summer start date has been pushed back a bit.

The good news is that im clear to start training this weekend! which is super!! however, im going to be forced to start pretty slow because im going away for about a week and a half. When i come back though... man are the lions going to be roarin! The 17th, randylion workouts will officially commence as far as im concerned.


In the meantime, those of you in the bay area are more than welcome to start posting if you are looking to run with some lions, Alex, demar, you know who you are. Kurt and Carlos run from trh fairly often already, and you guys could quite easily get a head start on me if you wanted to. remember you can all post as well!


Im pushing to have the tshirt around when i get back, im not sure on a price yet, but at this point i think they may be from 10 to 15 dollars. no terrible, and they are going to be sweet! im going to send out an email telling people to check this site and to get in touch, and also so that maybe some of us can get contact info! The time is coming that the Randylions will once more rule this countryside!
